The ISM Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity or CPSD examines the entirety of the supply chain to provide an understanding of supplier diversity as well as procurement of product.
A CPSD is adjunct to the ISM’s Certified Professional in Supply Management program. Certification requires one to be a CPSM, CSM, or CPM or to pass one of the CPSM exams offered by the ISM.
The stress is on diversity in this program – topics covered include company policies, planning, supplier development, and outreach. Finding diverse sources of supply and diverse individuals with varied talents are both fundamental goals of this particular certification.
