What Does CSCP Stand For?

CSCP stands for Certified Supply Chain Professional. This is a professional designation offered by APICS, The Association for Operations Management, to help supply chain professionals in the manufacturing industry to show expertise and on-going curiosity and learning in their field. Professionals interested in pursuing this certificate do so by undergoing a proctored examination that covers the following three modules:

  1. APICS Supply Chain Management Fundamentals
  2. Supply Chain Strategy, Design, and Compliance
  3. Implementation and Operations

Eligible candidates for the test will have fulfilled one of the following requirements prior to testing:

  • Hold an APICS CPIM, CFPIM, or CIRM designation, or
  • Hold a CPM, CSM, or CPSM designation plus two years of related business experience, or
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus two years of related business experience, or
  • Have five years of related business experience
